A 94-Year Tradition of Family, Culture, and Integrity

WCP Solutions, founded by R.A. Abrams and his wife, Amelia, began in 1930 as a small packaging supply company in Seattle, Washington making deliveries in a Ford Model-A. Through the leadership of R.A. and later his son, R.W. “Dick” Abrams, the company grew into a prominent wholesale distributor, serving the Pacific Northwest and beyond. After decades of growth, Dick Abrams’ daughter Teresa Russell took the helm, continuing the family’s legacy of growth, values, and service. Today, with Teresa Russell as owner and Amy Swanson as CEO, WCP Solutions upholds its customer-focused tradition while embracing a future driven by vision, culture, and innovation.

Statement by CEO, Amy Swanson

“We are thrilled to receive this certification, which validates our commitment to excellence and underscores the importance of supporting the success of women in business. At WCP, we believe that diversity drives innovation, and this certification is a testament to our dedication to creating a dynamic workplace.” – Amy Swanson, CEO

Women’s Business Enterprise National Council

The WBENC is a non-profit organization founded in 1997, dedicated to helping women-owned businesses thrive. Their mission is to promote innovation, open doors, and create partnerships. Achieving this certification is a testament to WCP Solutions’ dedication to these same values. To earn this certification, a company must be at least 51% owned, controlled, operated, and managed by a woman or women. Additionally, the woman or women must have unrestricted control of the business, manage day-to-day operations, and make a significant investment of capital or expertise. To become a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), WCP Solutions underwent a rigorous certification process, including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. Teresa Russell and Amy Swanson’s leadership were instrumental in securing this recognition, reflecting WCP Solutions’ enduring commitment to diversity, innovation, and community impact.
