Nicholas Pennino – 2022 West Coast Paper Company Scholarship Recipient
WCP Solutions is pleased to announce Nicholas “Nikos” Pennino as the 2022 recipient of the West Coast Paper Company Scholarship. Nikos will be using the scholarship money to pursue his education in Business Financing at the Ross School of Business at The University of Michigan in the Fall of 2022.
A Little Bit About Nikos
Nikos can be described as “a bright young man with a big heart”. He is a recent graduate of West Anchorage High School, class of 2022, with Summa Cum Laude and as an International Baccalaureate (IB) Program Diploma Candidate. When not in class, or studying, Nikos volunteers for multiple organizations, one of them being You Are Not Alone (YANA) Club. There, he has helped develop and deliver materials for mental health training for high school classrooms. He is also a barista for the locally owned Kaladi Brothers Coffee.

About the Scholarship
The West Coast Paper Scholarship Award was established in 2005 by Dick and Sharon Abrams with the creation of The West Coast Paper Scholarship Fund at The Seattle Foundation. Since its creation in 2005, 26 individuals have received scholarship funding to further their education. The scholarship is available to current WCP Solutions employees, spouses, and children of all ages.
