Celebrating 94 Years in Business
Today, March 1st, 2024, WCP Solutions celebrates 94 years in business. In addition to being our anniversary, it also happens to be National Employee Appreciation Day. To all Employees who have helped the company grow, flourish, and evolve over the past nine-plus decades, we recognize you. Thank you for taking care of our customers by building strong relationships with them, getting products to them in a timely manner, and finding the perfect product solution for their needs. We celebrate the culture and teamwork here at WCP, and we look forward to continued growth and success. We also thank our customers and suppliers for their continued partnership and trust. In a few years, we look forward to celebrating our 100th anniversary and beyond.
From the Beginning
WCP Solutions, formally known as West Coast Paper Company, was founded on March 1st, 1930, by Dick and his wife, Amelia Abrams. The company first began in Seattle’s Pike Place Market and International District, selling basic packaging supplies such as brown wrapping paper, tying twine, and bags to the merchants. 94 years later, we are proud to say that we have grown to 14 locations across six states, and our dedication to customers has never been stronger.
