Q & A with Tina
What is your favorite part of working at WCP?
I think my favorite part of working at WCP is having the opportunity to be able to help account managers obtain new business, while supporting local business in their territory. The creativity of ideas on how to help our customers are endless and it makes me proud to be a part of the process.
What is one lesson that your current position has taught you?
All of my positions through the years have taught me to continue to grow and learn new things. I may not always have the answer, but I know I have a team that will help me find it.
Do you have any advice for new people in the industry that are just starting their career?
Always appreciate the opportunity to learn something new. Work with your team of support – from all departments. When there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.
Can you share a couple of your favorite memories or stories while working at WCP?
I have so many fond memories throughout the years, but my first story would be when I first applied for the company. I responded to an ad in the newspaper for a credit and admin clerk. I wasn’t thinking that I was applying for a paper company and submitted my resume on the cheapest 20# bond. How embarrassing, but thankful I still got the job.
